Joint Safety Administrative Building
This project involves the complete renovation of a 2 story, 13,000 sf building for the City of Columbus to accommodate offices for two city agencies that will occupy one floor respectively. The scope includes a public lobby with reception desks for both agencies, a secure employee entry, interview rooms, conference rooms, private offices, kitchenettes, a fitness room and restrooms with showers. The building also required all new MEP systems as well as a new roof.
Much of the existing building had solid exterior walls, so the design introduced several new windows to provide natural light to the new offices for a better user experience. The project was delivered by Design-Bid-Build and is completed and occupied.
