The View on Pavey Square

The View on Pavey Square integrates two new buildings on a large site that encompasses a full city block while maintaining six historically significant houses and large native trees.

The buildings were developed with input from the University Area Review Board and local neighborhood groups. It balances the historic and open nature of the site with the density and activity of modern life while still being considerate of the scale and materiality of its context.

The design includes a restaurant, retail space, and parking below the podium with a lower level mechanized parking system. Above the podium consists of residential units along with large amenity spaces and decks geared toward the target student clientele. The site also provides a variety of outdoor spaces with both programmed and non-programmed areas.
